Cristina Quílez López is a Bioengineer at the TERMeG-Integra group at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, specializing in skin tissue engineering. Her research focuses on developing complex in vitro bilayer skin organotypic cultures, incorporating epidermal appendages to more accurately replicate human skin structure and function. She has extensive experience in optimizing biofabrication strategies and microfluidic devices to enhance cellular organization and differentiation. Her work advances the field of functional tissue engineering, with potential applications in both biomedical research and translational therapies.
