My Hedhammar is a professor in Molecular Biosciences at KTH, Department of Protein Science, since 2019. Her main research focus is to engineer proteins and develop methods for advanced cell culture and medical applications.
Hedhammar is one of the initiators of the KTH strategic research initiative IMPreT - In vitro Models for Precision Therapies, which brings together world-leading expertise to develop advanced human in vitro models—such as organoids and organ-on-chip—for use in precision medicine and pharmaceutical research.
